My journey to becoming an attorney began with a bachelor’s degree from the University of San Diego, followed by my Juris Doctor from Salmon P. Chase College of Law, where I graduated cum laude in 2008. I started my career as a litigator, working at the Public Defender’s Office and then transitioning to medical malpractice defense. This experience honed my legal skills and gave me a deep understanding of complex legal processes.
In 2013, I opened Willet Law Office with a clear vision: to create a practice that is not only knowledgeable but also deeply empathetic. Having experienced personal loss, I understand the emotional and mental toll that comes with difficult life decisions. This perspective allows me to connect with clients on a personal level, providing both legal guidance and compassionate support. I believe in creating an uplifting and inviting office environment where you can feel at ease and confident that your needs are understood and valued.
My goal is to make the complicated process of estate planning and probate feel simple and straightforward. I love the problem-solving aspect of designing a plan that perfectly fits a client’s unique needs, and there’s nothing more rewarding than seeing the stress and worry melt away from their faces. I strive to ensure every client leaves with both practical knowledge and a sense of empowerment.
My dedication to my work extends beyond the office. I am a member of the Kentucky Bar Association and the Louisville Bar Association, and I serve on the Sullivan University Legal Studies Advisory Board. In 2017, I was honored to be an Epic Awards Finalist for the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO).
Outside of the office, I am a proud mom and wife. I enjoy trail running, listening to live music, and getting lost in a good book. These activities keep me grounded and energized, helping me bring my best self to my family and my work. I am motivated by a commitment to hard work and look forward to continuous growth in helping clients reach their goals.
